What is it with broadcasting animation in the UK (britain, whatever you call it) that has appeal to adults … it never lasts… remember when they used to show anime late night on the sci fi channel from about midnight (if you don’t remember look it up)… then it slowly got pushed back to 1am, 2am… then 4am… then it didn’t exist any more.
Now, Adult swim is no longer on bravo TV… and anime central is dead and no longer broadcasting on the sky digital channel 199… and this didn’t last longer than 3 years.
That’s whack.
Where the fuck is all the animation that more appeals to adults… don’t get me twisted, I still will watch dexters lab, home movies, transformers and all that good stuff on the childrens channels… but they are depriving us from the animation that has swearing, a lot more sexual connotations, blood and gore and shit that could be considered politically incorrect… the gloves are fully back on.
I wish people generally would be effecient as Casper was in designing my next tattoo… we love it.

When I was a lot younger and my parents used to blast out their music… very loud…
One of the artists they always used to pump was “King Sunny Ade”… a legend of Nigerian JuJu music.
I now have the pleasure of owning my parents original records… none are re-releases… priceless… here’s the collection of King Sunny Ade I currently own.
In Nigerian music it is common for artist to release about 2-4 albums a year… with individual songs lasting 10-20 minutes… this was not unusual… unlike in Europe or the USA

Matt Small… he is a dope artist and a very nice guy I had the pleasure of meeting.
Seriously, I was introduced to him by my man “CWilliams”… we sat down for a while had a few conversations and played a little Nintendo Wii… I’m dope at the bowling game and I don’t actually own a Wii… but I have to say “Cwilliams” was killing it …
Sorry, back to the point… from talking to Matt he pretty much inspired me in telling me how he started painting and getting into the whole art world and as most subjective industries are, it was and still is a lot of hard work but definitely worth it… and in exchange I was babbling on about my experiences and my vision for my music.
Matt Small is now selling his work for big doe… I mean like “Ghostface Big Doe rehab” kind of money… and that’s not what defines him as a good artist I have to point out… you have to see his work to understand.
…there’s something on his website that you might find… I actaully was unaware about it until 4 days ago, but it makes me feel real good whenever I come across it.

I was not going to do this…for obvious reasons (if it’s not obvious to you, sorry) but I decided “fuck it”… it has to be done for the purpose of you being able to fully grasp the experience of a whole song from the chosen artists.
And let’s face it… we’re living in a world of downloading mp3’s… the sooner you can grasp that and get your head around it and try to see the positives we can benefit from… I guess the sooner you can feel better about the whole situation.
